Ayanda's final semester of an electrical engineering diploma in George
Ayanda has worked and saved for four years to study an electrical engineering diploma; a $1,100 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Ayanda is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at George Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,100.
The registrar has said Ayanda can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ayanda has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ayanda would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ayanda isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the George Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $640
• Final term tuition: $350
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $75
