Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 399 each week. Donations have dropped by about 33% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kochi market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $650 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $350 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $165 • Baby formula and diapers: $105 • Refrigeration and electricity: $30 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Prakash

  1. Small update. $125 so far, I made the first payment toward rice, beans, flour and oil.

  2. Small update. $50 so far, the plan for refrigeration and electricity is now scheduled.
