Feed 371 families each week at the Thursday Table in Port Harcourt
The the Thursday Table pantry in Port Harcourt is running low just as demand rises; $350 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 371 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Port Harcourt market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
• Baby formula and diapers: $100
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $210
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Temitope.
It's all in the list in the story. refrigeration and electricity is the big one at $40, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
