Feed 369 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Faisalabad
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Faisalabad.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 369 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Faisalabad market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $155
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $15
Glad we found this place.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Shaista?
Thank you. If you're in Faisalabad I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Let me know if you want more detail.
Take care, Shaista. More neighborhoods should do this. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless
Best of luck. Great idea, hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless!
