Help Manfred through 12 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
Manfred is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Manfred was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in October. The oncology team at Berlin Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Manfred is 32, worked as a hairdresser until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Berlin Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $8,850 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,000
• Scans and lab work: $950
• Transport to Berlin Cancer Centre: $580
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $680
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,640
Thanks for reading all this.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Manfred?
Thank you. If you're in Berlin I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
Thanks for sharing this, Christian. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
