The the Thursday Table pantry in New York is running low just as demand rises; $2,900 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 314 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 49% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the New York market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,050
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,500
• Baby formula and diapers: $350
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
