Ritu is two terms away from finishing a degree in civil engineering but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $4,500.

Ritu is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Québec Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,500.
The registrar has said Ritu can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ritu has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ritu would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ritu isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Québec Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $350
• Textbooks and materials: $100
