Feed 298 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Kharkiv
Boris runs a volunteer pantry feeding 298 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 298 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kharkiv market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $550 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $170
• Baby formula and diapers: $125
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $255
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
