Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Tuesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 248 each week. Donations have dropped by about 58% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Dublin market and keep every receipt. Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $1,150 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $380 • Refrigeration and electricity: $300 • Baby formula and diapers: $470 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Tara

Updates from Tara

  1. Update from Dublin: the plan for refrigeration and electricity is now scheduled. We're at 13% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 11% now ($122). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward refrigeration and electricity.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 3% now ($34). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
