Feed 229 families each week at the Harvest Pantry in São Paulo
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in São Paulo is running low just as demand rises; $600 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Thursday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 229 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the São Paulo market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $260
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $165
• Baby formula and diapers: $100
• Refrigeration and electricity: $75
Thank you so much.

Hope things get better soon. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Malang this morning. Greetings from Malang.
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of São Paulo.
Hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. I hope August is when things finally get easier. God bless.
You're not alone, Jéssica. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Hang in there, Jéssica. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Madurai.
