Care for Arthit, 76: help cover a carer and medication in Bangkok
Help Arthit stay in his own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a fall and hip fracture Arthit can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Arthit desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Arthit worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $450 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $155
• Medication and prescriptions: $165
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $130

Thanks for sharing this, Chanida. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Arthit?
Praying for you, Chanida. Wishing Arthit a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

It's all in the list in the story. mobility aids and bathroom adaptations is the big one at $155, I'll post a receipt when it's paid.
