The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Faisalabad is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Saturday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 219 each week. Donations have dropped by about 34% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Faisalabad market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $400 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $135 • Refrigeration and electricity: $35 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $230 Thanks for being kind about this.
