Feed 147 families each week at the Sunday Shelf in Poznań
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Poznań is running low just as demand rises; $1,250 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Sunday from the back of a community center. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 147 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Poznań market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $530
• Refrigeration and electricity: $90
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $630
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
