Fatuma lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Kasarani Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Fatuma could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $45
