Farewell fund for Yusuf: help Amal's family in Cairo
After the sudden passing of Yusuf, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Yusuf, my uncle, passed away on 9 May after a stroke. He was 51 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 17 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Yusuf to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $390
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $120
• Transport of the deceased: $55
• Memorial gathering for the family: $85
