San Antonio
William, my father, passed away on 30 May after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 82 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 12 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want William to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the San Antonio hospice. Where the $4,650 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $2,100 • Memorial gathering for the family: $290 • Funeral home services and casket: $2,260 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Nathan
