Romeo, my husband, passed away on 30 May after a sudden heart attack. He was 46 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Romeo to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Manila hospice. Where the $750 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $410 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $220 • Transport of the deceased: $70 • Memorial gathering for the family: $50 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
