Riley, my wife, passed away on 25 October after a sudden heart attack. She was 65 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Riley to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,300
