Farewell fund for Laxman: help Pooja's family in Kathmandu
Laxman passed away on 27 January; we're raising $800 for a respectful funeral in Kathmandu.

Laxman, my brother, passed away on 27 January after a short illness. He was 75 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Laxman to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $800 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $550
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $175
• Transport of the deceased: $65
• Memorial gathering for the family: $10
