Awino lost her wife suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $1,000.

Joyce, my wife, passed away on 8 June after a short illness. She was 54 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 18 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Joyce to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Transport of the deceased: $105
