Hudson, my grandfather, passed away on 11 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 78 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 28 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Hudson to have a dignified farewell.
