Electrician needed urgently: Emily's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed electrician in Bakersfield to donate time or work at cost.
🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States608 views
In July an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $990 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $160.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Beersheba
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best
