Enzo, my grandfather, passed away on 24 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 65 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Enzo to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $990
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $280
• Transport of the deceased: $120
• Memorial gathering for the family: $60
