Heating shut-off notice: help Folake pay $150
Help Folake cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.
🇳🇬 Nigeria1,254 views
The heating account is 2 months behind. Folake received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Folake called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Folake is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Water arrears: $70
• Reconnection and late fees: $10
• Down payment on a payment plan: $70
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
