Farewell fund for Claudia: help Mónica's family in Madrid
Mónica lost her mother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $2,300.

Claudia, my mother, passed away on 6 January after a short illness. She was 34 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 23 January.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Claudia to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,150
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $540
• Transport of the deceased: $350
• Memorial gathering for the family: $260
