Chloé, my wife, passed away on 22 August after a sudden heart attack. She was 53 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Chloé to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Marseille hospice. Where the $3,550 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,600 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $630 • Transport of the deceased: $320 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
