My sister Citlali has been accepted for treatment at Cali Transplant Centre in Cali, starting on Saturday in October. We live 215 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Citlali and me. We can contribute $35 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Citlali will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Hope it all works out, Laura. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Cali.
