Everett needs a lift to Sacramento General Hospital - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to Sacramento General Hospital would keep Everett on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Everett has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Sacramento General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Everett can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 35 km each way. Everett is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
