Emilio needs my motorbike repaired to get back to work in Ciudad de México
Emilio drives for a living in Ciudad de México, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $500 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $310
• Labor charges: $100
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• Towing and inspection: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
