Emilia's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Kansas City
A first-generation student, Emilia needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

Emilia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Kansas City Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,650.
The registrar has said Emilia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Emilia has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Emilia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Emilia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
