Emery needs a communication tablet with eye tracking - help us make it happen
Help Emery get a communication tablet with eye tracking so She can go outside without waiting for someone to push.
🇺🇸 United States542 views
Emery lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Scranton Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,900.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Emery could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $3,900 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $3,450
• Delivery and set-up: $140
• Fitting and training sessions: $310
