Emergency vet bill for Rosie in Mumbai
Rosie, Jay's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $500.

Rosie is my three-legged dog of three years. On 25 August we rushed to the Mumbai Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Mumbai Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $320
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $95
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jay.
Emergency surgery is $320 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
