Emergency vet bill for Max in Edinburgh

Max is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 6 July we rushed to the Edinburgh Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,650. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Max is more than a pet - Max walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Edinburgh Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
