Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Los Angeles
Ginger, Riley's cat, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $2,250.

Ginger is my cat of two years. On 14 August we rushed to Los Angeles Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Los Angeles Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.

• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $340
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $540
• Emergency surgery: $1,370
