Emergency vet bill for Coco in Toronto
A rescue greyhound named Coco needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,450 bill the family can't cover.
🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada1,480 views
Coco is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 11 July we rushed to Toronto Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,450.
They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Coco is more than a pet - Coco walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $220 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Toronto Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Coco's recovery.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $290
• Medication and follow-up visits: $125
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $185
Glad we found this place.
