Emergency vet bill for Bruno in Reading
A German shepherd named Bruno needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,300 bill the family can't cover.

Bruno is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 13 December we rushed to Reading Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Reading Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,500
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $280
• Medication and follow-up visits: $130
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $390
