Douglas's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
Supporting Douglas through stage 3 ovarian cancer: medication, transport to Bakersfield Cancer Centre, and living costs while He cannot work.

Douglas was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Bakersfield Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Douglas is 50, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bakersfield Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $660
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $10,250
• Transport to Bakersfield Cancer Centre: $590
