I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Women's Shelter in Sydney. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Sydney, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Women's Shelter on Wednesday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

        • Hope it all works out, Kylie. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Mumbai this morning.
