I coordinate donations at the Harmony Family Centre in Busan. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Busan, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Family Centre on Wednesday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you for reading my story.

  • So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

    • Sending good thoughts, Hye-jin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal

Rooting for you. Shared this with my family. After 11 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
