Help Fábio keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
The the Thursday Table pantry in Juiz de Fora is running low just as demand rises; $1,050 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 306 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 32% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Juiz de Fora market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $380
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $620
• Refrigeration and electricity: $50

Sure. The biggest one is fresh vegetables and fruit, $380. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
