Donate a coat: Camila is collecting for 83 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Pioneer Women's Shelter.

I coordinate donations at Pioneer Women's Shelter in Feira de Santana. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Feira de Santana, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Women's Shelter on Sunday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Camila. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Feira de Santana.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Nairobi
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
