I coordinate donations at the Cedar Mosque in Lagos. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Lagos, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Mosque on Sunday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you peace, Babatunde. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Tiruchirappalli so I could bring a meal.
Best of luck, Babatunde. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 17 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Bandung.
You're not alone, Babatunde. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Chiang Mai donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Chiang Mai.
You're not alone, Babatunde. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Kathmandu this morning. Love from Kathmandu.
Hope this works out for you. Greetings from London!
Keep going. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking!
Wishing you the best, Babatunde. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

Best of luck, Babatunde. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope August is when things finally get easier.
