The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Victor received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $150 is paid. He had never been late before August's medical emergency.
Victor called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Victor is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Victor's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $35
