Alexa lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Liverpool Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,650. Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Alexa could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $6,650 goes: • prosthetic leg: $6,000 • Fitting and training sessions: $230 • Delivery and set-up: $150 • First-year servicing plan: $270 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
