Feed 256 families each week at the Thursday Table in Pune
The the Thursday Table pantry in Pune is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 256 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 41% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Pune market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $140
