Don't let Paloma's family go through the cold months without electricity
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Paloma needs $300 before August.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $300. I have never been late before May's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Paloma's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $300 goes:
• Gas arrears: $155
• Reconnection and late fees: $55
• Down payment on a payment plan: $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
