The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $150. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Pallavi's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $150 goes: • Utility arrears: $95 • Reconnection and late fees: $10 • Down payment on a payment plan: $45 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Keep going, Pallavi. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
