Don't let Janet's family go through the cold months without gas
Janet is behind on gas bills after losing my job in June and needs $200 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $200. I have never been late before losing my job in June.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

Quick update: $154 raised so far (77%). I met with the utility company and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
