Don't let Dhanalakshmi's family go through the rainy season without electricity and water
A disconnection notice for electricity and water arrived and Dhanalakshmi needs $100 before September.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $100. I have never been late before June's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Dhanalakshmi's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $50
• Reconnection and late fees: $10
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40
