Don't let Derya's family go through summer without electricity and water
Derya is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in February and needs $250 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $250. I have never been late before losing my job in February.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $250 goes:
• Water arrears: $145
• Reconnection and late fees: $35
• Down payment on a payment plan: $70
